Well what a great start we have had at the Sky Bet Mobile World match play. We have had drama on and off the board.

Gary Anderson the number 2 seed was dumped out of the tournament on Tuesday night which was a big shock as he had been tipped to go all the way.

Away from the board the Paul Nicholson, Phil Taylor saga continues with Nicholson reacting to the comments that Taylor made in a tabloid news paper.

Has Nicholson made a massive error of judgement or will it propel him into the spotlight in the darting world?

The test will come tonight for Nicholson who takes on the crowd favourite Raymond Van Barneveld in round 2 of the World Matchplay. Nicholson has always struggled when the crowd are on his back so his character will be well and truly tested in this match.

The Bookies have the match closer than you would think Raymond Van Barneveld is 8/13 and Paul Nicholson is 5/4.
