X Factor 2011 Betting Guide

The X Factor 2011 is upon us again and this year see’s 3 new celebrities join the judging panel. With Simon Cowell away doing the American version of the X factor he has left the UK show in the hands of Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and the one remaining original judge Louis Walsh.

There will be plenty of bets offered by the bookmakers this year for the X factor, As the weeks progress we will see favourites appear on the bookies websites as the hopeful and sometimes deluded contestants look to make it through the auditions to the live shows and eventually one will be chosen by the public as the winner.

I am sure that the favourite for the Christmas number 1 will be the X Factor winner once again this year.

This weekend saw the X Factor bootcamp knock more pop star wannabes out of the contest. Hopefully you did not have an outside bet when Gary Barlow said Take That your off home.

This left 32 guys and girls to fight it out at the judges houses for a place in the live X Factor finals. The 32 are broken down into 4 groups, Which are The Girls Managed by Kelly Rowland (10/11), The Boys Managed by Gary Barlow (5/2), The Groups Managed by Tulisa Contostavlos (5/1) and the over 25′s managed by Louis Walsh (9/1).

Each category has been given an exotic location which will be paradise for some and hell for others as the final choices are made as to who will be in the 2011 live finals.

It may even get to much for one of the mentors as the bookies have put odds on a judge to quit at 12/1 and Simon Cowell to Replace one of the judges at 8/1. (William Hill)

We are now a few weeks in to the X Factor 2011 and already we have seen some really great singers but as usual also some real desperado’s.
The 3 new judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos have brought a breath of fresh air to the judging panel which for the moment does not seem to be missing the influence of Simon Cowell.
The bookies have already got an outright book in play with some of the favourites from the auditions being the lowest odds.
This can all change though as some of the favourites from the X Factor auditions last year did not make it through the boot camp section.
Betting at this early stage could work both ways, bet on any early front runner and they could get the chop at boot camp. However betting on a contestant who is an outsider but has caught your eye as a potential singing star could pay dividends in the long run.
